“There are no unsacred places;
there are only sacred places and desecrated places.”
-Wendell Berry
In these troubled times, it is vitally necessary that we build community, connect with the land, and find paths towards healing. This Lent we’re going to embrace repair by seeking the beautiful and blighted: to find the sacred in all lands. These gatherings are situated within the “lengthening of days” (literally, Lent) as a time for community, listening, hope, pruning, prayer, discipline, lament, resistance, song, and a meditation on our place within the community of Creation.
Outdoors. Saturdays, 3-4:30pm. In and around Dubuque, Iowa. Bring a chair.
